Alezan 495 (15 m) 2012
€295,000 – 35.2 MCFP
This stunning 50-foot aluminum Alezan 495 yacht, completed in 2012, was designed by Marc Lombard and built by the CNAC Caraibes shipyard. It perfectly combines long-distance cruising, elegance, and performance. The lifting keel provides significant stiffness to the sail and allows privileged access to anchorages. The configuration includes a large forward cabin with a private toilet and shower, two aft cabins with toilets and a shower to the right of the descent. It features a large U-shaped kitchen and a bright saloon. The spacious cockpit and large aft deck are standout features. The 2022 inspection report is available, and the rigging and underwater hull were inspected in 2024. The boat was repainted in 2024, and the sails have been serviced. This yacht is very well equipped and ready for long-distance cruising.
The exterior cockpit is fully covered by a bimini, providing excellent protection from the sun and rain. It is spacious and ideal for socializing.
The interior is splendid, with the flooring in excellent condition. This unit offers an owner’s cabin with a private bathroom. The two aft cabins also accommodate two people each. A second bathroom with a toilet and shower is located to starboard of the descent. The kitchen is spacious, well-designed, and practical, equipped with a stove, oven, and refrigerator.

Construction
“Gimme Shelter” is a yacht specially designed by [Marc Lombard](https://marclombard.com/), a renowned naval architect. It is an Alezan 495 built at the Construction Navale Aluminium Caraïbes (CNAC) shipyard in 2009. Fully equipped and armed in 2012 under the direction of its current owner, this aluminum boat is highly performant. One of its many advantages is its lifting keel, which allows a minimum draft of 1.40 m in the raised position, enabling access to privileged anchorages. In the lowered position, the keel bulb extends to 3.20 m, providing excellent speed on close hauls.
The hull of this boat is made of Sealium, an aluminum alloy that enhances performance through its strength and light weight, combined with the honeycomb bulkhead. This 50-footer offers both comfort and performance.
Maintenance is facilitated by easy access to all technical spaces, such as the keel’s hydraulic system, the engine, the watermaker, and the steering rams.
