Construction and History

Sun Odyssey 40 sailboat made of Polyester/Epoxy GRP, built in 2001 by the Jeanneau Shipyard / Les Herbiers, France. Designed by Daniel Andrieu

Built around a very fast hull, the interior offers exceptional space and volume. The exterior is modern, with twin wheels in the aft cockpit for incredible comfort.

The current owner purchased it in 2008 from the previous sole owner. It has been continuously equipped and renovated for long voyages. After sailing in the Mediterranean, it crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 2018, then sailed in the Caribbean, passed through the Panama Canal, and crossed the Pacific Ocean to reach the Marquesas in 2022. The boat has been sailing in Polynesia since then.

The owner is selling the sailboat to start a new chapter and project in Europe.
